September 1:
I thought living in Europe would be a non-stop party, but most of our weeks aren't terribly interesting until the weekend. Not because Europe isn't amazing every second, but during the week we are busy with work.
We've started a little tradition of getting pastries on Saturday mornings. Best so far: Andersen (also in SF!). So good.
Todd's company paid for the expat club to take a biking tour, so we went. It was actually pretty different from the tour I did with the Krasons last week. Our tour guide was a washed up wannabe rock star who oversimplified Danish political sympathies, hated republicans, and knew entirely too many people in Christiania. I'm not sure we could believe a word he said, but it was enjoyable.
The tour went to the usual Copenhagen stops, but we were most interested in the little squares and alleyways we never would have found on our own. There was an Italian food fare going on in one square, and we returned after the tour to get some food. We bought almost $100 worth of speck and pesto... probably a rip off, but at least it was delicious! I ordered in Italian, but my skills have gone way downhill. We ended up with a chunk of speck instead of slices, oops!
Loving:
The weather! (For now.) Divine.

Reading the mail without the aid of Google Translate.
My clothes. I've been wearing the same 4 outfits on repeat (maybe you noticed).
