blink and miss it

we are moving in about seven weeks. can't believe it is that soon.

everything is going on all at once. on top of all the normal things, we’ve had visitors twice this month (yes!). todd has read several books, taken pre-enrollment mini courses, and is prepping himself for life in the classroom. i’m trying to pull together all the pieces for our move and looking for jobs in our new town.

todd’s birthday is next weekend. we’re going to nauvoo for our anniversary (can’t believe it’s almost been a whole year!), trying to figure out what we’re doing for my favorite non-christmas holiday (the fourth of july), and are probably moving two weeks later.

on our way to virgina, we’re stopping by kirtland and (crossing my fingers) fallingwater. todd’s family comes in town the week we get to virginia, and the week after that is the hagen family reunion in north carolina. the next week todd has a pre-enrollment class, then my birthday, then he starts school and i will barely see him for 6 months! wow.

we just have everything in the world going for us, and it’s so fun, but also a little overwhelming! we're trying hard not to miss the joy in the journey.
