we had such a nice morning downtown! todd had an interview with a guy from the university of texas at austin, so i spent an hour shopping, walking the magnificent mile, and admiring some of my favorite chicago architecture. i brought our nice camera... but forgot the memory card. classic.
after todd's interview (which he says went well), we ate lunch at the flat top grill. we ate so much that neither of us was hungry for dinner-- no cooking? works for me! after eating, we walked through millenium park and back to our car. and we stopped at garrett's for some carmel corn (chicago tradition!), even though we were stuffed from lunch. we intended on going to the art institute, but we were so full that we just wanted to go home and lay down. plus, chicago is still pretty cold.
so we went home and watched new mexico beat our cougars on the court. unfortunate. then went grocery shopping. and now todd is out bowling with some of the guys in our ward and i'm at home watching the kardashians.
today has been a pretty typical, not super eventful, but wonderful saturday. i will miss these days when todd is busy with schoolwork in the fall!

I read this post wrong at first and thought you were IN Austin. I was furious for 2 seconds that you didn't call. Lol. I love those saturdays too. Marshall and I went mountain biking yesterday and got caught up on some 24.
