I went to Utah in April for Shelbey's graduation from BYU.
Cait's calendar made me smile.
The ceremonies weren't important to her, so it was short and sweet. We couldn't even locate her during most of the ceremony in the Marriott Center. Cait was totally convinced she found her... and I took several pictures of a stranger.

Shelbey had a joint birthday party with her roommates: Dad cooked, Cait and I helped with decorations, pilfered candy, and spied on the prospective boyfriends.
Utah is so perfect in spring. We played badminton with Dad (who schooled us, 1 on 2), and Cait managed a fantastic tan while I burned.
Mom & Dad's 30th anniversary cruise was postponed, so they went to California for a week while I had all sorts of crazy adventures with Cait. Namely, trying to get her to the bus stop on time. She missed it 4/5 days, and the one day she made it, she must have apparated. (She said it might help if I woke her up very sweetly, so that morning I danced around like a fairy to the opening credit song from A Series of Unfortunate Events. Worked.)
We didn't get to do all the fun things we would have liked, since Cait was busy with school and I worked. But the last night I was there, we went to the driving range, practiced driving in the church parking lot, played on the swings, and ate hot dogs and fro yo. These are the things I miss, living so far away.
I also managed to see Kirsten for a quick dinner. Love old friends. And love that we both showed up in blazers and stripes.
