Somehow, I went nearly 27.5 years of life without ever seeing a circus (except Cirque du Soleil, which lacks elephants and hardly counts). I came across cheap tickets to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey's in Raleigh and we were so there.
I imagined the circus would be either totally magical or totally horrifying. I thought it was fascinating and (surprisingly) not trashy enough to be horrifying. The tricks were amazing, I had the camera on for the whole show.
Circus: win.
