the sheranians visited us over the fourth of july weekend. on the third, we went to the zoo, ate some delicious deep dish pizza, and drove around the south side looking for china town. found only acupuncturists.
on the fourth, we got all festive for church. kristen and i dressed in perfectly complimentary outfits. not purposely. we must be friends. or it was a holiday and the color combo was kind of a given. still.
then we went for a walk in our favorite nature preserve. we find frogs in spring valley every time we go there, but we had never seen toads! todd caught one, and canon had no fear. would have grabbed the thing if we'd let him.
what a beautiful family! we're glad they could come before we leave chicago and they leave wisconsin!

um, you and Kristen may just be the two most beautiful women on the planet. Really. And could her little guy possibly look any more like his dad if he tried?? :) Love you!
