First I was sick-- for 8 days. This is absolutely unbelievable, as I never get sick! Just as I got better, Todd was sick for a weekend, during which we were asked to speak in church. Then guess who got sick again this past weekend? Maybe I need to have my tonsils out. I am so annoyed with being sick. I am not a good invalid.
Needless to say, our weekends have extremely boring lately. :(
On to better news:
This week is Todd's last at his internship! I can't believe it's over, it seems like he just started. He's done well and had a good experience, I am proud of him. On Saturday, he is flying to Oregon for family beach week. I can't go because of my job. Let's not talk about how annoyed I am over this (or the several other events I may have to miss in the next few months because of this job). But yay for Todd, he will have fun.
I will spend my Saturday shopping in DC, then cleaning the house for the whole week. Believe it or not, I am looking forward to this deep clean.
Speaking of our apartment, we marked a very exciting milestone this past week. As of July 25, we have just one year left on our lease for this dirty little place! I am so glad. I know I'm kind of high maintenance... but you can't fault me for wanting out of the mold as soon as possible.
Todd gets back to Virginia the day before my birthday. We're going to spend the weekend in Georgetown doing my favorite thing--walking around looking at stuff. Pretty row houses and shopping, can't wait!

Us too!!!!! All of July was spent being sick!! So annoying. Glad you are feeling better :)
