On Sunday, we went to the International Spy Museum. (Happy Easter?) I don't know if Mom and Dad were looking forward to this the most, but all of the kids were! It is the coolest museum.
In the beginning, you choose a spy alias and have to memorize some information you're quizzed on at the end. Cait wrote everything on her hand. We don't think she has a future in espionage. Though she did get all "Mission Impossible" on us and crawled through the air duct.
Todd eavesdropped on enemy communications and brought Caitlin in to consult.
Shelbey broke some code with team Dad & Cait while I snapped the photos and Mom cruised through and found a place to sit down!
After the museum, we walked over to the White House.
Someone never let me out of the house looking like Mrs. Looks Pregnant Frumpy Frump again. T, I'm looking at you.
Everyone minus Dad with Shelbey is giving us a little sassy sunglasses action.
We passed my very favorite DC building, the Eisenhower Building where the Vice President works.
We walked around both sides of the White House, and it turns out we were there just as the Obamas were returning from Easter services. The police blocked off the street on both sides of us (we were standing directly in front of the White House), and the Presidential motorcade drove into the gates. So we kind of saw the President. Almost. He's in one of those limos.
We ate Easter lunch at a hotel across from the White House, then dropped the family off at H&M to shop while we drove back to Charlottesville.
Todd and I got a little lost on our way out of the city (not the way we usually go, darn GPS). But on the bright side, it took us through the most perfect neighborhood that either was Georgetown or is right next to Georgetown. I'm going to find out, because I was almost drooling at all the gorgeous homes and townhouses.

Hey Marissa-looks like you are having fun. Do you have a Pinterest account? If not, you definitely should do it.
I have heard of all the things to do in DC the spy museum is the best. I have done some of the other things, Smithsonian, White House, Lincoln, etc...but I will for sure hit up the spy museum next time I am there. Looks cool.
