This week is Todd’s Spring Break. Thank goodness, because he was just about past caring at school. He has played a lot of NBA Jam, caught up on movies, talked to family and friends, gone to the gym, and slept in. Well deserved. He has his first-year capstone project and just one more term until his first year is done!
Didn’t we just get here?
To kick off Todd’s second week of Spring Break, we’re heading to DC this weekend to visit cousins and see the sights. We live only about 2 hours from DC but haven’t been there one single time since we moved here. I haven’t been a lot of places in this world, but DC is one of my favorites.
When Todd was admitted to Darden, I think the first thing I said after “Congratulations!” was “We have to go to the DC Cherry Blossom Festival!” We’ll miss the peak bloom and the actual festival itself (also the crowds), but I am happy I get to see at least some of it!
