a few weekends ago, my friend mallory and i co-hosted a baby shower for our friend amy, who will be having a baby boy in just a few weeks.

it was very sweet and simple. the baby's nursery is nautically themed, so we went that direction with the party also.

i'll have you know that bunting has meaning. each little flag is inspired by actual nautical flags, which spell out messages from one ship to another. the bunting flags don't spell anything out, though. so i guess that means they actually have no meaning at all. oh well, they're cute!

mallory taught us to make freezer-paper onesies. they were so easy and turned out really well.
