happy semi-anniversary to us!

We decided to drive back to Nauvoo that night, to watch the sun set over the Mississippi. We drove past the temple and our reception site, and couldn’t believe all we had done on that day. We went to the end of the Trail of Hope and walked along the river, then drove South along the river and stopped to watch the sunset. Todd and I agreed that we couldn’t imagine anything more beautiful, and we were so grateful for our perfect day. I told Todd repeatedly that I didn’t want it to end. I wanted to re-live it all over again every day. But I suppose I do get to have the best part of that day every day. Forever.
