We had a hard decision to make last weekend: take the job in Texas or the job in Virginia?
On Friday, we talked ad nauseum about the two options, which were equally good in exactly opposite ways. We were completely at a loss. It seemed like a completely even split. After sleeping on it, we both came to the same decision on Saturday. We were both pretty confident, but decided to fast on Sunday to make sure we still felt it was right for us.
Sunday morning, Todd felt impressed to re-read the offer letter for the job we had chosen. He found something in it he hadn't noticed before that meant the other job a much better situation for us. We were both surprised, but that is why we fast. By noon, our decision had switched to the other company. Barring any further intervention, we're moving to Richmond!
Needless to say, we're thrilled to stay in Virginia. We'll be in a bigger city and only a two hour drive from the mountains or the beach. There's a bigger airport. There's a Nordstrom. IT'S ON THE EAST COAST AND IN THE SOUTH! Score.
Todd starts the new job July 9 and I stop my current job this Friday. Bring on graduation, Disney World, and our last Summer vacation!

Congratulations! I've been waiting for this post for so long :) I am thrilled for you guys. I love the East Coast, so I'm also a little bit jealous. Can't wait to hear all about Richmond!
