On Saturday, our car got pooped on. Not just one bird, but a whole flock of birds relieved themselves all over our vehicle. The cars around us? Not a drop. I guess these birds prefer silver? Todd was so embarrassed by the mess that he parked in the back of the church parking lot. We had to laugh--it was a good metaphor for our life just then.
While the birds went to town on the car, Todd and I were inside looking at job postings. This is not the most fun weekend activity, but it's paying off. He has two preliminary and a fly-out interview this week! The jobs sound pretty cool and *bonus* his wife likes where they're located.
I should also mention...
I'm excited for Todd to have that diploma in hand after working so hard, but I will be really sad to leave Charlottesville. I may have mentioned once or twice how I am crazy about this place. We love our friends, we love Todd's school, and we LOVE beautiful Virginia. It's perfect except that it's far from our families. I've been sad about having to leave since the day we got here, and now we only have 3-4 months left! I'm sure our next adventure will be also grand, but we have LOVED this one.
100 days!

Poor car! Yeah on the possibilities. You guys are in our prayers! And 100 days?! No way. Too soon.
And we still haven't connected!! I guess we have 100 days to work that out...
Good luck with everything and enjoy your delicious pie while Todd's gone. Bill is gone today too, maybe I should make a pie for myself to tide me over :)
